Hélène
Molinier

Role: Senior Manager for the Action Coalition on Innovation and Technology, UN Women 

Hélène brings over 15 years of experience in program, policy and partnership work on gender equality, innovation and sustainable development. She successfully developed and implemented innovative programming initiatives, including digital tools for youth empowerment, innovative finance mechanisms for biodiversity conservation, innovative legal preparedness frameworks, interactive capacity building methodologies and innovative grant making for legal empowerment and access to justice for vulnerable women.

She previously served as Senior Advisor on Innovation and Technology for UN Women for two years. In her role, she successfully implemented a multi-stakeholder partnership on gender-responsive innovation, was “Sherpa” to UN Women Executive Director for the UN SG Task Force on Digital Financing for the SDGs, and authored of the UN Women policy paper “Leveraging Digital Finance for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment” and provided technical advice on the development of digital tools, frontier technology and social innovation.

Prior to this role, Hélène worked for several development organizations, including IDLO (Netherlands), UNICEF (Sri Lanka), the Global Fund (Switzerland), WHO Regional Office for Africa (Congo Republic), UNDP (Benin), Business France (Paris) and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (South Africa and Morocco).
A national of France, Hélène holds a Master’s in International Law and a Master’s in Diplomacy and International Relations from Paris XI University, France.
