Lamya Sikandar Butt

Role: Teen Advisor, MENA Regional Leader and President of Girl Up Club Dubai Scholars

Lamya Butt is a Pakistani student, born and raised in the UAE. Currently serving in Girl Up as Teen Advisor, MENA Regional Leader and President of Girl Up Club Dubai Scholars, Lamya is a passionate and vocal advocate for gender equality. Her international youth-led initiative, Resilient Together, has hosted summer programs to raise funds for Dubai Cares and help provide ICT devices to over 20,000 students in the UAE. A SHE Award Young Leader recipient, Lamya has served as Head Girl, MUN Secretary General, Editor in Chief of her school newspaper and has provided policy recommendations on gender equality to the Government of Pakistan.
